Position Overview This is a high impact position within our business, we are seeking a person with the technical and business experience who will thrive in our organization’s culture. The Operations Manager is responsible for implementing process improvements and practices across the organization, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The role supervises the Operational Team and ensures KPIs, financial, and customer experience standards are met. Ultimately, you will help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable. The Operations Manager leads and motivates the team, finding ways to improve customer experience and implement best practices at all levels.

Job Responsibilities

Manage production, procurement, and daily operations planning.

Ensure timely, compliant, and accurate management of work orders, business info, and licensing.

Support development of operational and business strategies with the owner/CEO.

Conduct onsite evaluations for licensing, vehicle, regulatory, safety, DOT, quality, and policies. Escalate issues to ownership.

Coordinate with sales to meet customer commitments; may participate in sales for key accounts.

Support office staff, technicians, and sales with customer escalations and SOPs.

Review operational and compliance metrics; track and resolve issues.

Supervise production staff, estimators, and claims coordinators.

Manage vendor relationships and approve expenses.

Communicate process changes and coordinate operational decisions.

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Analyze financial data to improve profitability, manage budgets and forecasts.

Improve management systems, provide training on new initiatives and tech.

Guide team growth and success, manage assets, monitor KPIs.

Plan workload and staffing to meet targets cost-effectively; recruit and train staff as needed.

Job Requirements

Experience in restoration industry preferred but not required.

Bachelor’s in business, operations, or finance preferred; 3-5 years similar experience.

Ability to interpret business processes and regulations; support compliance efforts.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Proficient with MS Office; experience with Xactimate/XactAnalysis preferred.

Leadership experience, ability to motivate and influence others.

Effective time management and teamwork skills.

Financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting.

Knowledge of organizational improvement and operations management.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions Must be able to move up to 70 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varied environments.
