LEGOLAND Discovery Center Guest Experience Team Lead

Location LEGOLAND Discovery Center – Schaumburg, IL
Compensation Pay range: $17.00/hr (base pay range). This range is provided by Merlin Entertainments. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Create engaging, interactive experiences that leave a lasting impression.
Lead from the floor: be a visible leader who supports the team and inspires outstanding guest service.
Collaborate with operations management to keep the attraction running smoothly.
Train and coach Guest Experience Hosts to deliver LEGOLAND’s world‑class service.
Resolve guest concerns with positivity, professionalism, and a can‑do attitude.
Champion health & safety standards and encourage team compliance.
Act as Fire Marshal and First Aider when needed.
Maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and team members.
Log incidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Training & Development
Support onboarding and training of new team members.
Track training completion and sign‑offs to keep the team empowered.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous guest service or hospitality experience is a must.
A love for entertaining children and families in a fun, energetic environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to train, guide, and lead others.
A bubbly, outgoing personality with a passion for teamwork and leadership.
