The Procurement Specialist is responsible for acquiring goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring the firm has necessary resources while maintaining budgets. Responsibilities include onboarding suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong procurement background, negotiation skills, and a track record of driving efficiency and savings. This role reports to the Manager, Procurement, and is ideally located in Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas, with a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Sourcing and Supplier Selection:

Conduct market research, evaluate suppliers, issue RFI, RFP, RFQ. Contract Negotiations:

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual conditions, collaborating with legal and compliance teams. Vendor and Contract Management:

Maintain vendor details, manage contracts, and advise stakeholders. Managing Supplier Relationships:

Build relationships, monitor performance, and explore collaboration opportunities. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure procurement activities adhere to policies and regulations. Order Management:

Liaise with vendors, manage purchase orders, and track deliveries. Cost Analysis and Budget Control:

Analyze costs, track savings, and work on cost reduction strategies. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Monitor spending, evaluate supplier performance, and prepare reports. Special Projects:

Support procurement system implementations and other initiatives. General Administration Tasks:

Handle queries, assist management, and perform administrative duties. Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. 3-5 years procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in legal or professional services. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of contract law and ITIL is a plus.
