Quality Seibi Technician

Provide effective written and verbal communication with Quality Seibi Team Members, BAC, Management and outside groups regarding dimensional information and issues that require resolution. Gather/manage part information from Digital Engineering systems and drawings. Analyze part/sub-assembly dimensional data and feedback to Project Leader and Seibi Management. Perform equipment/tool/part confirmation utilizing Vectorarm, FARO Arm, FARO Laser Tracker, check fixtures, weld tooling/equipment measurements, and part fitting activities. Engage in travel (or dispatch) to U.S. NAMCs and machine suppliers within the US and Mexico, as well as foreign travel to Canada and Japan. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications
Highschool diploma or higher college degree Proficient in Digital Enginerinng (DE) tools related to design / engineering including: CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Polyworks, AutoCAD Ability to review and interpret part / machine / tool / equipment drawings in 2D/3D Proficient quality measurement tools and techniques Added Bonus
Associates Degree or higher in Technical field Automotive Body Dimensional Quality experience Basic Robot Teaching Experience mentoring / training Proficient in Digital Enginerinng (DE) tools related to BODY WELD METROLOGY / DIMENSIONAL MEASUREMENT including: CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Polyworks, AutoCAD Qualification/Licensure
Work Authorization: Green Card, US Citizen Preferred years of experience: 0 years Travel required: 25% to 50% Shift timings: 9 AM to 5 PM Seniorit y level
