Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented

Cable & Harness Inspector

to join our team in Hudson, NH. This is a

part‑time

position with a flexible schedule of

1–2 days per week on an as‑needed basis .

Key Responsibilities

Perform first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers in Hudson, NH and surrounding areas.

Ensure products meet quality and specification standards.

Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications.

Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.)

Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects.

Interpret manufacturing drawings and identify non‑conformances.

Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules.

Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods.

Familiarity with IPC‑A‑620 standards.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields.

Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components.

Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC).

Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills.

Proven ability to de‑escalate workplace conflicts effectively.

Additional Qualifications

Certified or previously certified in IPC‑A‑620.

Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering preferred.

Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing.

5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector.

Compensation & Benefits 50% hourly rate for any travel time ("p2p"). Mileage reimbursement at the US government rate ($0.70 per mile driven). Untaxed.

Additional Requirements This position requires access to ITAR‑controlled technical data and/or defense articles. As such, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent (green card holder) to comply with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
