Position We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hospitality Specialist. As a Hospitality Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional customer service experience for our guests by providing a warm and welcoming environment, addressing guest needs, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the efficient and courteous operations of the front desk.
Responsible for checking guests in/out, collecting balances, posting appropriate room charges, making reservations, room moves, and stay‑over requests as needed; checking online travel agents for rental inbound; running reports and correcting errors before guest check‑in; preparing night audit daily; responding to any online reviews.
Answering and transferring calls from the switchboard using proper telephone etiquette; providing guest questions about local restaurants and attractions.
Making courtesy calls and follow‑up calls to all guests’ issues; sending confirmation letters to owners/guests as needed; making rental calls to notify owners whether their villa has been rented or not.
Coordinating with all other departments to ensure a smooth response to guests’ requests.
Processing all incoming revenue from all departments daily; opening and closing credit card machines and cashier audit reports; balancing cash drawer; processing advance deposits for reservations; collecting money and posting transactions from other departments; daily post office and banking runs.
Performing any other inventory management changes as directed by the supervisor or manager.
Preparing check‑in packets for the upcoming week; ordering office supplies as needed.
Entering maintenance and service requests in SPI promptly; blocking RCI points for unpaid accounts; managing RCI banking, membership changes, and cancellations.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
Computer skills, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work under pressure
