Join to apply for the Respiratory Therapist (RT) FT Nights role at Hattie Larlham. This position is a full-time night shift with a schedule of 6:30pm - 7:00am, every other weekend required. Location: Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities, northern Portage County, between Cleveland and Akron. This range is provided by Hattie Larlham. $35.00/hr - $45.00/hr Responsibilities
Provide high quality respiratory therapy services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Manage acute and chronic respiratory problems. Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate effectively. Work as a team to ensure high quality health services to each person served. Assist with training / mentoring of new Respiratory Therapist staff as assigned. Complete checklists, incident reports, data collection, monthly summaries. Demonstrate respect, trust, and confidentiality regarding persons served, families, and co-workers. Other related duties as requested by the direct supervisor. Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC. Current Ohio state license in active status without disciplinary action. Associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from an AMA-approved school. BCLS certification – free training / recertification provided. Experience in chronic care and ventilators; knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Requirements
