ServingSchools . Brunswick's Special Education Department seeks a self-contained behavior ed. tech to join our KFS team for the 25-26 school year. Students in our programs have a wide variety of academic, functional, and developmental needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will be able to closely collaborate with team members to manage students’ programs, demonstrate the creativity and flexibility necessary to support students’ challenging behaviors, support students in the regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1, implement students’ IEPs and behavior plans, and support students’ unique needs as appropriate. Successful candidates will also provide support on Special Education transportation. Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to manage students’ programs Demonstrate creativity and flexibility to support students’ challenging behaviors Support students in the regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1 Implement students’ IEPs and behavior plans Support students’ unique needs as appropriate Provide support on Special Education transportation Qualifications
2 Years of College or Equivalent Experience preferred Ed Tech Authorization through the Maine Department of Education Maine Criminal History Records Check Additional information
