Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC ) Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech Language Pathology experience, but new grads are welcome to apply Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. The SLP develops and implements individualized treatment plans to enhance speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to improve outcomes and quality of life. Essential Work Functions

Utilize standardized assessments and clinical observation to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies, home-based exercises, and safe swallowing practices; provide supportive counseling as required Work with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate a comprehensive approach to patient care Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development to stay current with best practices Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice Required Essential Skills

Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills Physical: able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment, push/pull, and bend Interpersonal: able to work effectively with a variety of personnel Technical/Motor: able to grasp and manipulate equipment as needed Mental: able to cope with frequent contacts with the general public, meet deadlines under pressure, and work under supervision when required Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication Benefits
