Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in San Juan for a Head Athletic Trainer. The Head Athletic Trainer will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, assessing and treating injuries, coordinating rehabilitation activities, and managing injury prevention protocols. The trainer will also be responsible for maintaining detailed injury records and working collaboratively with coaching and medical staff to ensure the health and safety of athletes.
Qualifications
Skills in injury prevention and prevention
Expertise in athletic training and strength & conditioning
Experience in rehabilitationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience in higher education athletic programs is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer
First Aid and CPR certification
