Texas A&M University-Victoria Arhltocs is located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region in Victoria, Texas. A&M Victoria Jaguars compete in baseball, softball, M/W soccer and M/W golf. Our program has been competitive since our first seasons in 2008, qualifying for NAIA national championships 20+ times.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Victoria, TX for a Head Athletic Trainer. The Head Athletic Trainer will be responsible for overseeing injury prevention programs, providing athletic training services, developing strength and conditioning routines, and managing rehabilitation programs. The role involves coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure athlete well-being and monitoring the progress of injured athletes.
Qualifications
Skills in Injury Prevention and Prevention
Competency in Athletic Training and Strength & Conditioning
Experience in Rehabilitation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, athletes, and healthcare professionals
Bachelor\'s degree in Athletic Training or a related field; Master\'s degree preferred
Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers
L icensure in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
Salary $60,000
