Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in our Inpatient Behavioral Health unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full‑time day shift opportunity. As an LCSW, you will assess psychosocial needs and provide services that enhance patient functioning, emotional well‑being, and continued access to community services and resources. You will contribute to patient care by addressing their social and emotional needs, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy within a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities
Assess psychosocial needs and provide services that enhance patient functioning, emotional well‑being, and continued access to services and resources in the community.
Facilitate group and individual therapies on an inpatient behavioral health unit.
Complete documentation as required for regulatory purposes (e.g., Baker Act, clinical documentation).
Assist with safety planning.
A valid Florida LCSW is required for this role; registered interns will not be considered.

Education Required Master's Degree
Education Preferred Doctorate
Experience Required
3-5 years of experience in the mental health field.
1-2 years of individual counseling experience.
1-2 years of group counseling experience.
1-2 years of assessment and diagnostic experience.
Less than 1 year of case management experience.
License and Certification
Licensed Clinical Social Worker required.
