We are seeking motivated Water Resources Engineers with 2 to 6 years of experience to join our growing team. This position offers exciting opportunities for individuals who are passionate about water resources and interested in working on a variety of projects including stormwater management, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and stream restoration in multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the design and assessment of storm drains, stormwater management (SWM) facilities, and erosion and sediment control (ESC) measures. Design and analyze bridge/culvert hydraulics , bridge scour , and participate in stream restoration projects. Assist with ensuring compliance with MS4 permit requirements and other regulatory standards. Collaborate on securing SWM and ESC permit approvals at both the state and county levels. Prepare and review project plans using MicroStation , AutoCAD , and associated design software such as Bentley’s InRoads or OpenRoads (experience with these programs is a plus). Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering . Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles , including stormwater management and erosion control . Knowledge of MicroStation , AutoCAD , and design programs like InRoads or OpenRoads (preferred but not required). Experience with securing SWM and ESC permit approvals is a plus.
