$25-40/hr. (Based on experience) Job Description / Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain all packaging and support equipment to optimize efficiency and quality. Conduct line changeovers and make necessary setup and adjustments as required by the production schedule. Perform line alteration, rebuilding, as necessary. Utilize data from both CMMS and MES to analyse and solve both routine and complex electrical and mechanical problems of processing, packaging, and auxiliary equipment. Assist manufacturing personnel on process related problems. Perform established Preventative Maintenance. Identify and correct mechanical/electrical maintenance issues found during PM process. Assist Engineering on equipment installations. Repair and fabricate parts as required. Operate forklift trucks as required to move equipment or materials. Assist and train team members in simple adjustments and maintenance. Diagnose, repair, changeover and maintain all packaging and support equipment to optimize efficiency and quality. Perform established Preventative Maintenance. Identify and correct mechanical/electrical maintenance issues found during PM process. Continuous improvements and problem-solving initiatives to include analysing data to identify machine downtime issues and implementing root cause and preventive measures. Train team members in simple adjustments and maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Repair, maintain, and support equipment on both Aerosol and Hair Care Packaging lines to maximize productivity and quality including changeovers, set-ups, installation, and adjustments. Advanced skills and knowledge of the repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment, electric motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, PLCs, bearings, shafts, production machines and liquid filling equipment. A key aspect of this role is troubleshooting machine downtime events using root cause analysis techniques. High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in mechanical technology, electrical technology, or engineering science is a plus. Completion of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship, or military technical training strongly preferred. Advanced technical knowledge of machine shop operations, welding, mechanical/electrical maintenance principles (shafts, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC motors, starters, contactors, three phase power, PLCs). Ability to read blueprints and possess advanced mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and production maintenance work experience. Initiative/motivation and communication skills required.
