The TGH PGY2 ID residency program aspires to produce versatile ID pharmacists who are prepared for advanced patient care, academic roles, or other specialized positions, and can become board‑certified. Residents will maintain dedication to evidence‑based pharmacotherapy, antimicrobial stewardship, clinical research, and quality improvement.
Core rotations are offered at TGH, with electives available in Bone Marrow Transplant ID at Moffitt Cancer Center (Tampa, FL) and Pediatric ID at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (St. Petersburg, FL). Our program will attend ASHP Mid‑year PPS and conduct a virtual showcase on 11/20/25 from 5–6 pm EST.
Responsibilities
Manage antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
Conduct clinical research projects.
Implement quality improvement activities.
Provide evidence‑based pharmacotherapy services to patients.
