JR9562We are looking for a Mechanic Millwright ( to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.**Shifts:** **1st Shift: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or** ****2**nd Shift: 3:30 pm to 11:30 am or 3rd shift: 11:30 pm to 7:30 am****We Take Care of Our People:**Paid Time Off **I** 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing **I** Health and Wellness Benefits **I** Learning and Development Opportunities **I** Referral Program **I** Competitive Pay **I** Recognition **I** **I****Your Challenge:*** Install, move, reconstruct, repair and rebuild machines and major site equipment requiring planning and improvisation of methods.* This includes day-to-day repair, modification and/or replacement of Test Loops.* PM work includes laser alignment.* Machine repair parts as required.* Mechanic’s hand tools, portable power tools, material handling equipment, pneumatic winches, hammer drills, large power hoists, ladders, scaffolds, cable slings, precision levels, laser transit, monitoring equipment including instrumentation, and pressure gauges.* Operate a lathe and milling machine, and required machinist equipment. Use department communication devices.* All types of machine tools, such as, but not limited to conventional equipment, numerical-controlled equipment, boilers, pumps, and all types of raw materials, i.e., structural steel material, bar and flat sock, soldering and other metal joining materials.**What You Bring:*** High School graduate plus completion of a four-year Mechanic Millwright Apprenticeship or a two-year Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology* Four years’ experience working in the Mechanic Millwright repair field.

Prior machining experience, such as lathe, milling machine, boring mill, etc.* Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.* Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.**Who we are:**EMD a business unit of Curtiss-Wright in Cheswick, PA designs, manufactures, tests, and provides after-market support for the most advanced, proven and reliable critical function pumps, motors, generators, seals, control rod drive mechanisms and power conditioning electronics available anywhere in the world today.
