Nurse Manager RN Cardiac Cath Lab - Full Time Day Shift
Location:
Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
Salary:
$58.56 – $103.06 hourly
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee daily operations of the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs, ensuring optimal workflow and patient throughput.
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of Cath and EP lab personnel.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
Develop and manage the labs’ operating and capital budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives, including clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, benchmarking, and adoption of best practices in cardiovascular and electrophysiology care.
Serve as a key liaison with hospital leadership, contributing to strategic planning and service line growth.
Champion innovation in cardiovascular care, supporting the development and execution of advanced procedures and technologies.
Support and expand the regional cardiogenic shock and structural heart programs through clinical leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Oversee the expansion and integration of new procedure rooms to accommodate growing patient volumes and service offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
BLS required.
5 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology lab setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures, equipment, and protocols.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex operations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Proven track record of driving innovation and improving clinical outcomes in high‑volume cardiovascular settings.
