The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to work full‑time at the hospital in Florence, SC. IR should be BE/BC certified and able to perform a broad range of general and advanced IR procedures.

Fluoro BE-UGH-Barium Swallows
Modified Barium Swallows
Ultrasound Guided Biopsies
Thoracentesis
Paracentesis
Glactograms
Specialized Responsibilities
CT Fluoro Biopsies
Albations
Embolization
Kyphoplasty
Gastro Placement
Pleurx Catheter Insertion
Nephrostomy Tube Insertion
Port Placements
Tunneled and Non‑Tunneled Catheters
Dialysis Graft Declots
Biliary Drainages
About the Opportunity Applicants will enjoy professorship status (Clinical Assistant Professor) as a member of the College of Medicine. No research requirement. No radiology or IR residents/fellows on‑site at this location; affiliated DO medical students, radiology tech students, and others regularly rotate through the department.
EMR: Epic, Dictation: PowerScribe, PACS: Sectra.
Qualifications
Candidates must be BC/BE in IR/DR and fellowship trained.
Community‑based practice serving a broad patient population.
Staff are well‑established, collaborative, and dedicated to the hospital and community.
Home workstation available.
