The Licensed Optician creates exceptional value in the lives of customers by delivering Signature Customer Experiences. Ensures customers are always delighted by performing the key steps of our selling model. Develops the optical skills of others and creates an effective learning environment. Major Duties And Responsibilities
Conveys a commitment to providing unsurpassed Customer Service by performing the Sales and Service Process steps. Execute our CEE Service Model through Connect, Explore and Exceed. Support problem solving and troubleshooting; engage patients, customers and fellow associates with use of our technology to support experiences. Deliver Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision; celebrate LensCrafters Advantages and lead the location in customer service. Anticipate problems, explore underlying causes, develop long-term solutions, and assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited for lifestyle, Rx, and price needs. Suggest improvements and resolutions to complex product needs and prescriptions; assist co-workers as needed. Demonstrate patience and courtesy; track down answers to unfamiliar questions or products; educate customers on LensCrafters guarantees and services. Handle tasks such as taking and recording measurements, adjusting or fitting eyewear accurately, and ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements. Manage Point of Sale (POS) transactions accurately; input customer and prescription information; collect payment following security procedures and manage discounts, insurance, and coupons. Proficient in Order Tracker to support customers with Ready When Promised (RWP) orders. Maintain store appearance and ensure displays align with planograms; contribute to positive store-manager/Macy’s host relationship and business growth. Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician Optical dispensing experience Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise Knowledge of current store merchandise assortment and use of Inventory management systems Strong communication and listening skills Awareness of current fashion trends Sales skills and ability to use an IPAD/tablet Comfortable with the use of technology to engage patients, customers and associates Preferred Qualifications
Actively studying LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program Previous customer service and retail experience Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
