Job Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – full‑time,
$40–$44 per hour
– at Benchmark Senior Living in the Atrium at Veronica Drive, Danvers.
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated LPN to provide caring nursing services in a warm, home‑like setting. The role requires delivering quality care to residents, supporting independence, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Accurately assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
Observe and report significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
Direct and supervise daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
Mentor, guide, and direct Lead Resident Care Assistants on all aspects of their job.
Coordinate care needs with community providers via an effective case‑management process.
Balance service demands while supporting resident independence.
Recognize and assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and report to appropriate sources per state regulations.
Respond to emergencies and personal emergency response system, and know when to call for backup.
Requirements
Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
Prior experience caring for elderly residents is highly desirable.
