Classification Title Postdoctoral Associate Job Description The Liu lab at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute of Biomedical Innovation and Technology, Department of Chemistry, is seeking outstanding, creative, independent, and highly motivated postdocs. The lab focuses on discovering small molecules for human proteins and characterizing their functions in physiological and disease contexts, using chemical proteomic and functional genomic technologies like ABPP and CRISPR screening. The successful candidate will assume a leadership position within the lab as a Postdoctoral Associate. Set the tone for scientific and scholarly excellence. Drive complex, innovative, and impactful projects. Develop and write fellowship applications. Participate in seminars, journal clubs, and conferences. Expected Salary Commensurate with experience. Required Qualifications Ph.D. (or MD/PhD) in biological sciences with a strong publication record. Preferred Qualifications Expertise in molecular biology techniques: cell culture, gene editing, IP, Western blot, flow cytometry, in vivo models. Experience with epigenetics/genomics: ChIP, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, CRISPR screening. Basic bioinformatics skills (R, Python) or willingness to learn.
