RISE Early Intervention is a growing organization that provides support to families of children birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs, helping them to build on their child's strengths, and to enhance and promote the child's growth, development and learning skills in their natural environment. AzEIP provides support to families of children birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs by assisting with learning developmental skills such as motor and language, facilitate engagement in activities, routines and events of everyday life. Responsibilities

The Director position is responsible for the supervision and management of Early Intervention Program requirements. Provide guidance and coaching to staff to assist in achieving competency in the performance of their job requirements. Assure contractual compliance as outlined by the Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) and may carry a small caseload. Travel locally to attend home visits, meetings and/or training sessions as required. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Child Development, Social Science, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or other related field is required; Master\'s Degree preferred. Minimum one year experience in supervision, coaching, management, training, and development of staff. Minimum one year experience in the field and practice of early intervention services, and/or developmental delays/disabilities in young children. Knowledge of early child development and intervention techniques, including evaluation and assessment tools. Demonstrated communication skills both professional written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively in individual or group settings, including listening skills. Ability to build relationships and communicate with families, service professionals, natural parents, state personnel and others. Ability to interpret and implement RISE EI policies/procedures related to AzEIP/Arizona DES/DDD. Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally for home visits, meetings and/or training sessions. Meets AzEIP Standards of Practice (preferred). Must be able to complete a successful background check and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
