Overview
The MRI Tech performs optimal MRI procedures and provides high quality care for patients of all ages from the neonatal to the geriatric. Takes call and modifies shift as necessary to meet the needs of the department. Maintains effective department workflow during periods of high demands/volumes. Performs other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or equivalent Experience
1 year of clinical experience as an MRI technologist in a hospital setting preferred Certification & Licensure
ARRT (R) Registered or ARMRIT required ARRT (MR) Registered or registry eligible, certification required within 6 months of hire date BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation. FLSA Classification
