Ultrasound Technologist
Up to $15,000 bonus
Summary Provides health care services, applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas: OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, and vascular. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services, maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics, and applies appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of each procedure.
Education Satisfactory completion of an ultrasound training program.
Licensure ARDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN or Vascular.
Experience Prior experience preferred in performing abdomen, small parts, OB/GYN, or vascular examinations.

Anatomy & physiology
Ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas
Computer skills
Ability to operate all ultrasound equipment
Manage patient during ultrasound exam
Proper quality assurance
Maintain confidential information (HIPAA)
Demonstrated customer service skills
Ability to utilize responsive customer service skills, considering cultural background, linguistic abilities, and age of patients
Cooperate with peers and other disciplines
Communicate effectively and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements Required visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability must include stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching, and reaching. Must be able to push, pull, and lift more than 30 lbs.
