Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at BFM. 1 day per month will work on the Mobile Medical Unit. 5 days a week or 4 days per week can be negotiated. There will be training provided that must be attended. This position will function under direct RCORP-related supervision of the Project Director and the clinical supervision of the Director of Nursing to assist recovering individuals to successfully set and work towards recovery goals and connect to health services, including prevention, SUD treatment, MOUD, support services, self-management, and follow-up. Promote linkage to care and retention in care for individuals screening positive for SUD, including linkage to SUD treatment services at LCHCS and/or placements in higher levels of care as indicated. Use the lived experience of recovery and a set of strategies that engage, inspire, educate, and offer support to persons in SUD recovery. Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. Provide education to patients, family members, and general community regarding SUD/OUD prevention, treatment, and recovery, and naloxone distribution/use. Coordinate with local emergency departments, jails/prisons, behavioral health care clinics, etc. to ensure they are knowledgeable regarding the integrated primary care/SUD services provided by LCHCS. Serve as a Learning Collaborative Point of Contact for the RCORP project. Manage other roles and responsibilities in this project as indicated in the work plan. Salary scales are a range of pay and offers are made to applicants based upon requirements of the particular position. Applicants with "previous like skills" may not be given the same weight and consideration as "previous specific same skills": i.e., For a Medical Receptionist position, "Previous clerical skills" may not be preferred over "Previous Medical Clerical Skills".
