Artemis CoPack
is a 67,000 sq. ft. cannabis co-packing and processing facility located in Lower Lake, CA. Our Processing department specializes in large-scale drying and trimming, pre-roll production, and automated packaging for some of the top brands in California. The Driver & Processing Technician will play a critical role in facilitating the pickup and delivery of cannabis products around the state. In times where no deliveries are needed, you will assist the Processing department by ensuring the accurate and compliant packaging of cannabis products using automated equipment, assisting with the drying and trimming process, as well as with pre-roll production. This role requires a clean driving record, attention to detail, precision, and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
Weigh and measure cannabis products accurately and precisely, including cannabis flower, pre-rolls, and other finished cannabis goods
Safely operate a company 26' refrigerated box truck and Sprinter van to transport licensed cannabis products and assist with loading/unloading
Assemble and package cannabis products into various types of containers, such as jars, bags, boxes, cartridges, or syringes, and apply appropriate labels and seals to finished products
Operate automated and semi-automated packaging, trimming, and pre-roll equipment. Includes Mobius trimmers, knock boxes, and Greenvault packaging systems
Maintain accurate records of packaging activities as required by the Company and/or regulatory agencies
Assist in managing inventory levels by ensuring accurate counts of finished products in METRC
Adhere to strict safety and sanitation standards in the packaging area
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older (as per legal requirements)
Must be able to pass a Live Scan and criminal background check
Must have a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
Some trips will require overnight stays to adhere to DOT driving regulations
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience with cannabis deliveries and/or processing is a plus
Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance is highly desirable
Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment
Willingness to learn and understand new processes
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Manual dexterity for pre-roll production and packaging tasks
Cannabis and cannabis particulate is a known allergen. You will be exposed to environments with a high concentration of airborne particulate matter. This position is not recommended for individuals with asthma, or a known sensitivity/allergy to cannabis
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Ability to drive commercial vehicles for extended periods of time
