Career Opportunities with the Lynden Door Family of Companies We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator responsible for welding and fabricating stainless steel, aluminum, and steel components for a variety of projects and equipment. This role involves interpreting and building to project drawings and specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout. The position may also include performing on-site or field welding and fabrication work as required by project needs. Hours:
Mon – Thursday 6am – 4:30pm, Friday is OT if required Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel in all positions (flat, vertical, overhead). Fabricate and assemble components per drawings and specifications, completing assigned jobs on time. Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project success. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support off-site installations and field service work, including mobile welding and rigging operations. Qualifications
Proficient in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding with strong understanding of structural properties and welding symbols. Skilled in reading blueprints and operating shop tools such as press brake, shear, ironworker, and mill. Capable of performing equipment installation, rigging, and machinery setup both in-shop and on-site. Demonstrates urgency, self-motivation, and the ability to follow instructions and work in challenging conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively with coworkers and customers. Represents Source Engineering professionally on and off site. Physically able to bend, kneel, lift 50+ lbs, and perform repetitive movements. Must pass pre-employment drug testing (including marijuana) and a Class C health exam for mobile service truck operation. Required Education or Experience: 3-5 years experience in related industry. Travel: Local to customers if needed. Our Purpose:
