Exercise Physiologist 2
Department: Ross | Inpatient Rehab – Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
We are seeking an experienced exercise physiologist to assist in the clinical, technical, clerical, and educational operations of our cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program. Responsibilities include bedside education, early ambulation, and referral initiation to ensure continuity of care into outpatient programming.
Responsibilities
Provide bedside patient education and support during phase 1 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
Conduct early ambulation sessions and assist patients in transition to outpatient services.
Assist with program documentation and clerical tasks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high quality patient care.
Education & Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Knowledge of computers and exceptional customer‑relations skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Cardiac or pulmonary experience.
Direct patient experience in a rehabilitation setting.
Position Details
Location: Ross Heart Hospital (0353).
Type: Regular, Full‑time.
Hours: 40 per week.
Shift: First Shift.
