Reporting to Director of Rehab
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You are a healer and a helper who addresses the whole patient, restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to patient needs, find joy in a variety of settings, collaborate with peers, and make referrals as needed to ensure the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
