The Department of Radiology offers a unique opportunity for an Abdominal Imaging and Intervention Radiologist to support the Department of Radiology in the Abdominal Imaging section.
This position is full or part-time, 80-100%.
This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
Applicants who are interested in pursuing an academic career in the Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section will be considered for the titles Assistant Professor (CHS), Associate Professor (CHS), Professor (CHS). The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.
The duties under the CHS track include clinical, teaching, and academic duties. Clinical duties will take place in the Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section and will include the following ultrasound, intra-operative ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), computed tomography (CT) guided procedures, virtual colonoscopy (VC), and gastrointestinal/ genitourinary (GI/ GU) imaging. Teaching and clinical research is required. Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows, and other department trainees as appropriate. Teaching will be expected of medical students, residents, and fellows. WI medical license by start date of position.
Board certified-board or board-eligible by American Board of Radiology (ABR) by start date of position.
Completion of fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging or equivalent experience is required by start date of position.
