Responsibilities
Reviewing and documenting current MRO processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with suppliers and Quality Assurance on resolving supplier inquiries for information and product defects.
Analyze and modify product designs in collaboration with other teams such as Design Engineering to assure manufacturability.
Develop design, selection, specification, and optimization of the required equipment, fixtures, tooling, gaging, processes, and operations.
Determine other technical matters required to make a given product according to the desired volume, timetable, cost, quality level, and other specifications. Includes the monitoring of established processes via data collection for statistical analysis purposes as well as the use of various continuous improvement enablers.
May evaluate manufacturing capability and provide technical support at the supply base.
Develop procedures for economical mass production in cooperation with pilot‑plant and production departments.
Conduct tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables; and service, troubleshoot, and solve production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
Review field support requirements and recommend tools and test equipment.
Determine maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
May make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Experience with assembly job instruction creation.
Solumina Production hardware database knowledge.
Experience with assembly tool design.
Background in piece‑part design/production/routing.
Candidate Skills & Requirements
Requires a university degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience; in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Minimum 1 year SAP related experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in 2D/3D CAD drawing creation/blueprint reading.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, political asylum seeker or refugee).
Annual Salary $100 K – $125 K
