Salary:
$52,800 - $76,200 per year (general guideline only)
Your Challenge
Set up and operate large vertical turret lathes to perform precision machining to tolerances within 0.001‘.
Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
Select appropriate tooling and materials for each job.
Maintain machines, perform minor repairs, and report mechanical issues to maintenance.
Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to feeds, speeds, and tooling.
Document production and inspection results accurately.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Your Expertise
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Completion of a four‑year machinist apprenticeship or equivalent is an asset.
Minimum of 3+ years in CNC machines experience operating vertical lathes.
Experience operating Fives/G&L 1600, 2000, and Momentum 2500 is preferred.
Ability to maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level and effectively communicate with others.
Lifting objects weighing 50 pounds to waist height and transporting 10 feet.
Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
