Job Description Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a presence with current projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market.

Role We are looking for an

Electrical Trade Foreman

candidate to join our Field Operations team at

Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay, Georgia.

Responsibilities The Electrical Trade Foreman is responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. RQ's Six Values are Safety, Ethics, Innovation, People, Teamwork, and Discipline.

Compensation and Benefits PAY: $40.00-45.00 per hour, DOE

Competencies

Information Management:

Observing, receiving, and obtaining information from relevant sources (e.g., subcontractors, senior managers, project engineers) and verifying data (e.g., researching building codes for compliance).

Decision Making and Problem Solving:

Analyzing information and evaluating results to select the best solutions for project issues.

Planning and Organization:

Developing specific goals and schedules to prioritize and complete work efficiently.

Communication and Coordination:

Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, subordinates, and external stakeholders in person, by phone, email, or written correspondence.

Team Leadership:

Coordinating the work and activities of crew members to accomplish daily and long-term project objectives.

Scheduling and Resource Management:

Managing labor, materials, and time to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Safety and Quality Control:

Identifying hazards, inspecting work progress, and ensuring compliance with all specifications, laws, and RQ safety procedures.

Interpersonal Effectiveness:

Building and maintaining cooperative working relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in construction management or engineering.

Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Foreman supervising electrical trades on medium or large projects.

Minimum three (3) years of field or trade experience in construction; government, military, or large commercial project experience.

Design-build experience desirable.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required; training available for Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit/Autodesk.

CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training available).

Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).
