Test Lab Technician Responsibilities
Preparing and configuring test equipment and fixtures for a variety of component evaluations.
Using mechanical knowledge and experience to install oil seals into testing rigs to create testing conditions according to customer requirements.
Using ladder logic to program testing parameters.
Conducting tests according to defined procedures and standards.
Monitoring test progress and recording detailed data and observations.
Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to interpret results and support reporting.
Maintaining lab equipment and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Technical background, experience in mechanical testing or laboratory work, and/or previous experience in mechanical fields.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
Familiarity with industrial or automotive components is a plus.
High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree.
High level of commitment and flexibility.
Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position.
Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced and consistently changing environment.
