is seeking a qualified
Field Technician
for service and repair of light industrial equipment in the Jackson, TN area. Equipment commonly worked on includes floor scrubbers, sweepers, handicapped carts, checkout lanes, paint shakers, and other commercial customer equipment found in large retail/industrial locations. Technicians will also install and service grease containment units used with deep fryers. This position requires a valid, good-standing driver’s license as it utilizes a company vehicle regionally. The position is primarily Monday-Friday, averaging 40 hours a week. Vehicle, laptop, cell phone, and PAID TRAINING are provided. Starting Pay Range: $22-$25 Our Technicians' Typical Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:
Strong mechanical aptitude essential for diagnosing, repairing, and completing service calls and scheduled PMs on light industrial equipment. Provide customer service by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on customer equipment at their location. Visually inspect, test, and listen to machines to locate malfunctions; dismantle parts to detect wear or misalignment. Install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate machinery components. Organize repairs and PMs based on location and schedule; maintain records and report work orders, parts, and supplies. Submit daily work orders, agendas, parts orders, and required paperwork. Handle company equipment responsibly and follow guidelines for the company vehicle. Additional Details:
Travel up to approximately 300 miles per day. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Typically Monday through Friday; weekend and after-hours work possible with emergency pay. On-call ends at 11 am EST on weekends and holidays. Adhere to safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and use equipment properly. Dependability is essential: maintain excellent attendance, respond promptly to service requests, follow instructions, and ensure safe driving and regulatory compliance. Benefits:
