Location: New Orleans, LA
Summary We are looking for a skilled psychotherapist, with experience and passion for severe mental illness, to become part of the EPIC-NOLA team as EPIC develops a hub-and-spoke model for coordinated specialty care services across the state of Louisiana. This therapist will provide behavioral health assessments, therapeutic services, crisis intervention, and/or other identified clinical services appropriate to stabilize and improve functioning of clients experiencing their first-episode of psychosis via telehealth for a new spoke first-episode psychosis clinic.
Required Qualifications • Master’s Degree in either counseling or social work • 2 years of clinical experience beyond graduate school• Licensed in the State of Louisianan with an LCSW or LPC
Preferred Qualifications • Experience in the mental health evaluation of adolescents and young adults• Experience with psychotic disorders• Interest in research• Training in multiple areas of psychotherapy including but not limited to cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, supportive therapy
