Responsibilities

Establish therapeutic alliances and develop goal-driven treatment plans.

Provide individual and family therapy using EMDR and other trauma-informed modalities.

Complete documentation accurately and promptly, in compliance with TheraCorp policies and all applicable State and Federal guidelines.

Work collaboratively with the treatment team to monitor client progress and revise treatment plans as needed.

Maintain a safe, supportive therapeutic environment, fostering trust and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey License: LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMFT.

Minimum of 2 years of experience providing individual counseling/psychotherapy.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong rapport with clients.

EMDR Certification: Completion of an EMDRIA-Approved Basic Training Program is required; EMDRIA certification is preferred, but not mandatory.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing mental health services, with specialized training in trauma and PTSD.

Proficiency in EMDR protocols and complementary trauma-focused approaches (e.g., CBT, somatic therapy).

Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and cultural influences on mental health.

Ability to explain EMDR processes clearly to clients and manage expectations.

Commitment to Growth: Ongoing supervision, training, or consultation in EMDR therapy to stay up-to-date with best practices.

Compensation $60,000 - $85,000 yearly DOE
