Job Description Radiologic Technologist – New Graduate Opportunity

Location: Intermountain Medical Center

Pay Range: $29.14 – $44.94/hour (based on experience and certifications)

About The Role As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams, collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, and deliver high‑quality imaging results. You’ll be part of a team that values precision, safety, and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain ARRT or modality‑specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.

Verify patient identity and exam orders; prepare patients for imaging procedures.

Perform exams according to department protocols; review images for quality and accuracy.

Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.

Complete studies efficiently while ensuring patient comfort and care.

Educate patients and address concerns professionally.

Practice infection control and sterile techniques.

Operate imaging equipment and information systems effectively.

Document procedures and patient interactions accurately.

Follow protocols for coding, charging, consents, and equipment reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

ARRT(R) certification.

Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in clinic or InstaCare settings.

Preferred Qualifications

1–2 years of radiology experience.

IV Certification.

Physical Requirements Stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and use manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment.
