Position Summary Physician - OBGYN

– Board‑certified OB/GYN faculty in the Ascension St. Vincent OB/GYN Residency Program. Full‑time, outpatient role at the Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center—Women’s Health Clinic.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with diagnostic and treatment skills; coordinate discharge planning with case management.

Recommend, participate in, and support efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care.

Accept patient referrals; act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for hospitalized patients as needed.

Participate in academic programs (medical education and research) as requested.

Provide documentation that meets insurance requirements; appeal denials promptly.

Participate in inpatient and outpatient specialty consultations, including on‑call schedules.

Qualifications

Board certification in OB/GYN.

MD or DO credentialed by the Indiana Medical Licensing Board prior to hire.

Advanced Life Support preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Experience with outpatient staffing, resident teaching and practice management preferred.
