Overview
As a Chemist/Lab Technician at Alleima, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our electroplating operations. Your key responsibilities will include: Responsibilities
Perform routine chemical analysis of electroplating baths (e.g., pH, metal concentration, additives). Adjust chemical concentrations to maintain optimal plating conditions. Assist in developing and refining electroplating processes for various metals (e.g., nickel, gold). Troubleshoot plating defects and recommend corrective actions. Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., titration equipment, atomic absorption). Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations related to chemical handling and waste disposal. Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals. Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in a chemical lab or electroplating environment. Strong understanding of electrochemical processes and plating chemistry. Proficiency in laboratory techniques and safety practices. Ability to troubleshoot plating defects and recommend corrective actions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or other quality management systems (preferred). Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and knowledge of wastewater treatment and environmental compliance (preferred). What You Can Expect From Us
