WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Pharmacy Technician for a local contract job in New York, New York. Job Description & Requirements Responsibilities
Day Shift. 5x8. Responsible for receiving written prescription or refill requests, verifying that information is accurate under supervising pharmacist. Prepare bulk medications, fill bottles with prescribed medications, and type and attach labels. Maintain proper storage and security for all drugs. Deliver medications to patient care areas, refill automated dispensing cabinets, and conduct medication station reviews while adhering to department policies. Order medications and supplies as needed or requested. Assist patients by answering questions or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA. Must have pharmacy dispensing experience. Sterile processing experience is required. 2 years previous Pharmacy Technician experience required. Benefits
