This program offers veterinary tech students hands-on experience in emergency medicine, working alongside credentialed emergency veterinary technicians. Focus areas include obtaining patient vitals, processing laboratory samples, caring for hospitalized patients, triaging cases, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Note:

This is an unpaid externship. Rabies vaccinations are required unless your school's policy allows handling unvaccinated pets without vaccination. Flexibility:

Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or veterinary nursing program, or actively seeking accreditation. This is not for veterinary students or veterinary assistant students.
