Overview

Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO). Learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians. This role involves hands-on learning, routine inspections, and customer interactions to explain repair procedures and provide quality service. Base pay range: $19.55/hr - $29.33/hr. Pay is aligned with a flat-rate compensation model and reflects regional productivity.

Responsibilities

Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services. Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems. Install batteries and check electrical systems. Perform tire maintenance. Install parts. Road test vehicles. Work toward obtaining ASE certifications (A1 – A8) within the first two years of employment; tests and registrations are paid for by the company; technicians receive a bonus for each test passed. Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks. Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles. Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repair. Reading, writing, and math skills. Preferred Qualifications

2 years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical training, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessments. A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications. Our Benefits
