Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Fabricator
to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metal components to create products according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, blueprints, and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Weld, braze, or solder components using appropriate techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products or subassemblies.
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, grinders, and saws.
Schedule: M-F 7:30 - 4 p.m.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding/fabrication is a plus.
Proven experience as a fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
