Projects Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist Mill Turn (Setup and Operate) to join our team full-time. We manufacture complex small machined components for the Aerospace and Power Systems industries. We have been in business for over fifty years. The qualified candidate will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager. Responsibilities
Set up and operate complex Mill Turn jobs independently, ensuring parts meet specifications. Make necessary modifications or adjustments to ensure parts are to specification. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and productivity standards. Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions, understanding geometric and standard tolerances. Verify dimensions using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. Maintain tight tolerances required for Aerospace and Power Generation parts. Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering for improvements. Maintain 5S practices and adhere to safety regulations, including PPE usage. Perform cross-training to learn additional duties as needed. Adjust machines to meet specified dimensions and monitor operations for malfunctions. Perform preventative maintenance on machinery. Enter data accurately into the ERP system. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
3+ years of CNC Mill experience. Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools. Proficiency with computers; ERP experience is a plus. Detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn and succeed. Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work independently. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Physical Requirements
Stand for at least 8 hours per day. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Perform bending, pulling, pushing, sitting, and reaching tasks. Additional Information
