We are looking for a

CAD Developer

to support our Revere brand. This position will work out of our

Birmingham, Alabama

office location.

Responsibilities

Develop complete designs for schematics and layout from bill of materials, I/O lists, and design package.

Implement high‑level, intelligent blocks allowing exported data to be utilized in production systems for machine CNC, labeling, and engraving.

Develop AutoCAD Electrical templates and blocks and maintain group and company standards that improve accuracy and efficiencies.

Mentor others in AutoCAD Electrical.

Use AutoCAD and/or other related software to generate accurate, scaled drawings.

Convert engineer & customer panel designs onto relevant title block format to be used as production type drawings.

Convert Sales Department sketches into drawing format with job‑related information for proposal purposes.

Create fabrication detail drawings to be sent to a metal fabricator for custom enclosures and related accessories.

Revise drawings for re‑submittal or shipping prints and provide laminated drawings, if necessary, to be placed in panels before shipping.

Responsible for creating PDF files of every drawing that we create or revise to be stored on the network.

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of six (6) years job experience with AutoCAD, preferable.

Genuine desire to be trained in applicable company standards.

Experience with ACADE (component & block) and related development of projects and blocks into templates.

Experience with electrical schematics and component functions and features applicable to the drawings.

Experience with control panel integration and wiring details.

Skilled in scaling drawing layouts and creating fabrication drawings for production purposes.

Proficient literacy in Microsoft Office, e‑mail.

Desire for accuracy, consistency mandatory; also a desire to learn and improve.

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm working hours.
