ALG Senior is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems within our senior living facilities. This role requires a highly knowledgeable and dedicated individual who can ensure the comfort and safety of our residents by maintaining optimal environmental conditions. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Ensure all HVAC systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues before they become major problems. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all HVAC work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety policies. Promote a culture of safety within the team, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting HVAC systems. Resident Interaction: Communicate effectively with residents and staff to address HVAC-related concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Provide clear explanations and updates regarding maintenance activities and timelines. Inventory and Budget Management: Manage inventory of HVAC supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for maintenance and repairs. Assist in budget planning and control, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in the commercial or industrial HVAC industry. Experience with Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaboration and teamwork with peers. Valid driver’s license and EPA/CFC certification (Universal). Criminal Background check. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
