Electrical Estimator We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team as a full‑time Electrical Estimator. The Estimator will analyze blueprints, determine material and equipment costs, and prepare project bids to increase profitability for our growing company.

Responsibilities

Compute cost by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

Prepare estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

Present estimates in clear, numerical, and descriptive formats.

Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Perform conceptual, schematic, and design development budgets.

Review plans for consistency and accuracy.

Track market prices for commodities and equipment to keep bids competitive.

Collaborate with preconstruction teams to bid jobs successfully.

Prepare subcontractor bid packages and maintain communication with subcontractors and vendors.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

6–8 years of overall commercial electrical experience.

Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Texas) or equivalent field experience.

6+ years of estimating or commercial construction management experience.

Experience with underground and land balancing projects (plus).

Proficiency reading plans, specifications, and performing quantity surveys.

Familiarity with construction estimating systems (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, Conest) and Microsoft applications.

Experience with Sage BIM/Revit or CAD drawings.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Proficient with modern technology platforms.

Understanding of industry terminology.

Problem‑solving and analytical mindset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Team‑oriented, flexible, reliable, professional, and eager for new challenges.

Willingness to develop relationships with subcontractors, clients, and engineers.
