Overview
Sr Photogrammetric Engineer at KBR’s National Security Solutions team. This position supports high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions for customers in the intelligence and national security communities, with work that can significantly impact national security objectives. Responsibilities
Photogrammetric Skills: Provide senior photogrammetric services and engineering for traditional and non-traditional imaging systems and products. Support GEOINT product quality assessment planning, execution, results analysis and reporting as a senior photogrammetrist. Sensor Model Skills: Create rigorous sensor models and exploitation methods, and apply sensor models to support predicted accuracy. Research and Development: Support development of new sensor models and exploitation methods for 2D and 3D data. Geolocation Experience: Assess product geolocation accuracy and predicted accuracy using verified geolocation of known features; verify mensuration accuracy through measurement of known objects; calculate ground sample distance and perform related photogrammetric analyses as directed. Qualifications
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a polygraph Education: B.S. in Engineering, Remote Sensing, Physics, Mathematics, or related field Experience: At least 15 years in photogrammetry performing analyses for R&D or operations Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing: Specialized experience in geospatial solutions for photogrammetry and remote sensing Sensor Modeling: Imaging geometric sensor modeling, covariance error propagation, and multi-variate least squares adjustment Sensor Imaging: Knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes Payloads: Knowledge of Electro-Optical and SAR payloads and CONOPs Testing: Experience testing and analyzing EO payload and imagery geolocation and mensuration performance Software: Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, Python, or R for prototyping and analysis; familiarity with SOCET GXP, MSP, and iSpy Problem-Solving: Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a desire to learn Team Player: Ability to work in a collaborative team; mentoring junior personnel Communication: Ability to convey complex analyses to government and corporate management; strong organizational skills and initiative Work Environment
