Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team for the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal operation of machinery and equipment in a food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs Install new equipment and machinery as needed Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow Adhere to safety regulations and protocols at all times Assist in HVAC and plumbing repairs when necessary
Qualifications
2+ years maintenance mechanic experience Experience with food manufacturing preferred Strong mechanical and electrical skills Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery Certifications preferred Union experience preferred Bilingual preferred Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work overtime if necessary
